Preventive maintenance covers a range of services beyond oil changes, from fluid services to filters. Because the right part, fluid, and labor depend on your specific vehicle, a few good questions up front help us give you an accurate quote and the right service.
Questions worth asking
- Does my vehicle actually have this service item? Not every vehicle has, for example, a serviceable fuel filter or a transfer case. Confirming applicability avoids confusion.
- What does my manufacturer recommend? Your maintenance schedule is the best guide to what is due and when.
- Is this service compatible with my vehicle? Some services have requirements. Our transmission service, for instance, is for ATF (automatic transmission fluid) transmissions only, and we confirm compatibility before any work.
- What will it cost for my vehicle? We quote these services per vehicle rather than posting a flat price, so ask for a quote based on your make, model, and year.
- Is this the right step for the problem I am having? If you are experiencing an issue, tell us. A maintenance service is not a repair, and we will be honest about whether it is the right move.
One clarification we make often: our fuel injection and emissions service is a maintenance service. It is not state emissions or inspection testing, and it does not guarantee any inspection outcome.
The easiest way to ask
Add any maintenance services you are curious about in the estimate tool. They are clearly marked as needing a vehicle-specific quote or staff review, and they are never folded into your base price automatically. We follow up with accurate information for your vehicle.
